Introducing: Tristan Cleveland

Tristan Cleveland grew up in South West Cove, spending much of his childhood at the JD Shatford Memorial Library and enjoying ice cream at Shelia’s & VNS. Tristan is a PhD researcher with Dalhousie's Healthy Populations Institute and with the consulting firm Happy City. He has been an advocate for safe, healthy communities in Halifax since 2013, and contributed to Metro News as an urban affairs columnist. As an urban planner with a passion for helping communities reach their goals of increasing health and well-being Tristan has long fantasized about Hubbards getting a beautiful main street that is safe and welcoming to pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists alike.
